POSITION SUMMARY:
\n\n
The Graphic Design Intern is a self-driven, independent individual who also enjoys collaboration. The ideal candidate is a “can-do” design enthusiast who creates amazing solutions to real-world challenges. This role will be part of the USBC Creative Team, which supports the Communications, Marketing and Tournaments departments, working on projects that include a wide range of assets including advertising elements, print forms and reports, magazine ads, brochures, digital content, event signage and special information pieces.

DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
\n\n
- \n
- Work with the Art Director to explore and execute thoughtful and compelling creativity for marketing support, BOWL.com, and event/venue assets. \n
- Support the team with assets needed for internal concept presentations. \n
- Assist in the development of supportive content for digital, including video direction for typography and iconography. \n
- Assist in archiving photos in the digital asset management system, tagging images, uploading, etc. \n
- Communicate key learning/insights to supervisors and internal clients. \n
- Develops strong partnerships across our organization. \n
- Brings a positive, service-oriented approach to work. \n
- Is driven by creating unique and efficient solutions for business challenges. \n
- Can articulate thoughts clearly as well as listen to and consider others’ ideas. \n
- Is passionate about their contribution to Bowling and Design. \n
- Other duties as assigned. \n

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:

- This position has no supervisory responsibilities. \n
\n
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITY REQUIREMENTS:
\n\n
- \n
- Junior or Senior student currently enrolled in an accredited university, majoring in Graphic Design or relevant major, preferred. \n
- Strong typography and layout skills. \n
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator). \n
- Understanding of production methods (offset, digital, web). \n
- Ability to maintain a strong attention to detail. \n
- Ability to adhere to brand guidelines. \n
- Comfortable multi-tasking and working in a fast-paced environment. \n

EXPERIENCE AND OTHER REQUIREMENTS:
\n\n
- \n
- Available to work a minimum of 20 hours/week and a maximum of 25 hours/week. \n
- Must submit portfolio when applying. \n
- Must pass background and drug screenings. \n
- May occasionally lift and/or move up to 15lbs. \n
