Overview
\nThe Data Intern will work closely with the Data Analyst to support a variety of data-related projects and daily operations. This role is ideal for a college student seeking hands-on experience in data analytics, business intelligence, and organizational reporting.
\nIntern Activities:

- Assist with data gathering, cleaning, and transformation for reporting and dashboard development. \n
- \n
- Support the creation and maintenance of dashboards, logic models, and scorecards. \n
- Help document data flows, relationships, and processes (e.g., ER diagrams, data dictionaries). \n
- Participate in data validation and quality assurance activities. \n
- Aid in preparing reports for program evaluation, strategic planning, and committee participation. \n
- Contribute to the organization and review of program data needs across multiple systems (e.g., EHRs, BI platforms, Odoo, FAMs). \n
- Support the implementation of artificial intelligence initiatives and learning groups as directed. \n
- Assist with documentation and communication of data findings for various audiences. \n
- Attend relevant meetings and work groups as needed. \n
Minimum Requirements
\n- \n
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor’s or Master’s program in Data Science, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field. \n
- Must be enrolled in an internship program and receiving school credit for internship hours \n
- Foundational knowledge of data modeling, data gathering, and data cleansing. \n
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and basic SQL. \n
- Familiarity with dashboarding tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Sisense). \n
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. \n
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively. \n
- Good written and oral communication skills. \n
- Interest in data analytics and its impact on organizational outcomes. \n
Internship Details

- Supervision and mentorship provided by the Data Analyst will occur on a bi-weekly basis. Supervision meetings will be scheduled to provide guidance, review progress, answer questions, and support professional development. Additional check-ins or support sessions can be arranged as needed to ensure the intern’s learning goals are met. \n
