Job Description
The Administrative Assistant for Friends of Leaps & Bounds will play a crucial role in supporting the growth and sustainability of Friends of Leaps & Bounds. This position is responsible for assisting with community outreach, events, managing volunteers, and general office/administrative tasks that support programs and the mission.
\nThis is a part-time, on-site, hourly position.
\nCompensation: $20.00 - $22.00 an hourly, dependent on experience.
\nResponsibilities:

- Recruit, onboard, and provide administrative support and coordinate training with the ranch volunteer coordinator. \n
- Assist with volunteer schedules, ensuring adequate coverage for all programs. \n
- Maintain accurate records of volunteer participation and hours. \n
- Coordinate volunteer recognition initiatives to maintain high levels of engagement, in collaboration with the ranch volunteer coordinator and marketing. \n
- Promote engagement for future employment. \n
- Actively seek and identify opportunities for the nonprofit to attend or speak at community events. \n
- Represent the organization at offsite events, promoting our programs and building relationships with community member, in collaboration with marketing. \n
- Coordinate the Beyond Therapy Program’s registration, scheduling, payment, etc. \n
- Provide administrative support to senior staff as needed. \n
- Prepare and distribute meeting agendas, minutes, and other relevant documents. \n
- Manage and update the organization’s database with accurate and current information. \n
- Donor Management data management \n
- Donor Thank you & Receipt production \n
Preferred Qualifications:

- Knowledge of youth program development and implementation. \n
- Demonstrate sound decision-making skills. \n
- Ability and willingness to work in a standing position for long periods of time, indoors, and outdoors, during inclement weather. \n
- Ability and willingness to stand, walk, and bend for extended periods of time. \n
- Ability and willingness to lift, lower, push, carry, or pull up to 40-50 pounds on a consistent basis. \n
- Ability and willingness to bend, squat, stoop, and climb stairs on a consistent basis. \n
- Ability to treat all employees and clients in a respectful manner. \n
- Maintain a positive outlook on life with a passion for the company mission. \n
Work Environment:

- This position requires occasional evening and weekend hours to attend events and meetings. \n
- Ability to work weekends, evenings, and holidays, as needed, in accordance with Company needs. \n
- Must be able to travel locally for community events and offsite meetings. \n
