Gastroenterology - Gastroenterologist Hospitalist Gottlieb

Our organization is currently seeking applications for a full-time gastroenterology hospitalist position at Gottlieb Hospital. This community-focused facility is situated in Melrose Park, IL, and features two GI suites equipped with anesthesia capabilities.

• The preferred candidate will engage in a 7-day on/7-day off hospitalist schedule.
• Advanced practice providers will assist with inpatient rounding in our 150-bed hospital.
• A project to upgrade GI Olympus equipment is currently in progress.
• Join a thriving Midwest academic medical center in a rapidly expanding community; interventional skills (EUS/ERCP) are not mandatory.
• The applicant should be Board Eligible or Board Certified in Gastroenterology and hold an Illinois medical license upon appointment.
• The successful applicant will be appointed as an Assistant Professor.
• This role provides an outstanding work-life balance, as it involves coverage of only one hospital with no outpatient clinic responsibilities.

• Starting salary ranges from $159,000 to $985,945.
• Compensation is determined based on academic rank and experience.
