Director of Real Estate Development | Affordable Housing
Richmond, CA (Hybrid) | $175K-$205K
Are you an affordable housing development leader who can take projects from concept to completion?
We're partnering with a mission-driven nonprofit developer seeking a Director of Real Estate Development to lead a growing portfolio of affordable housing projects throughout Northern California.
This is not a traditional real estate development role.
We're looking for someone who has deep experience in affordable housing finance, tax credits, public funding applications, community engagement, and leading development teams. You'll oversee a pipeline of approximately 20 projects while managing a team of project managers and development professionals.
What We're Looking For:
'05; Affordable housing development experience (required)
'05; LIHTC / Tax Credit expertise
'05; Funding applications, grants, loans, and public financing
'05; Experience leading projects from acquisition through construction and closeout
'05; Strong leadership and people management skills
'05; Ability to navigate community meetings, public presentations, and stakeholder engagement
