A well-established and growing commercial construction firm in the Triad region is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead large-scale commercial and institutional construction projects. This is an excellent opportunity for a seasoned construction professional who thrives in a leadership role and has a proven track record of delivering complex projects safely, on schedule, and within budget.
The Senior Project Manager will oversee projects from preconstruction through closeout while serving as the primary point of contact for clients, design teams, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders.

The Senior Project Manager will oversee projects from preconstruction through closeout while serving as the primary point of contact for clients, design teams, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage multiple commercial construction projects simultaneously.
- Lead projects throughout all phases, including preconstruction, execution, closeout, and warranty.
- Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, forecasts, and resource plans.
- Coordinate owners, architects, engineers, subcontractors, and internal project teams.
- Review and manage contracts, RFIs, submittals, permits, and change orders.
- Negotiate subcontract agreements and oversee procurement activities.
- Monitor project financial performance, profitability, and cash flow.
- Ensure compliance with project specifications, building codes, safety standards, and company policies.
- Lead progress meetings and maintain strong client relationships.
- Mentor and support Project Managers, Assistant Project Managers, and field personnel.
- Prepare executive-level project reports and oversee final closeout documentation.
- Minimum of 15 years of project management experience in commercial construction.
- Demonstrated experience managing projects with values of $10 million or greater.
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, Building Science, or a related discipline preferred.
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel to project sites as needed.
- Proven ability to lead large project teams and maintain strong client relationships.
- Extensive knowledge of commercial construction methods, scheduling, budgeting, and project delivery.
- Strong leadership, communication, negotiation, and organizational skills.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Customer-focused mindset with a commitment to quality and client satisfaction.
- Proficiency with construction management software and tools, including Microsoft Office, Procore, Bluebeam, and Microsoft Project.
- Ability to visit and navigate active construction sites.
- Ability to walk uneven terrain, climb stairs and ladders, and occasionally lift up to 25 pounds.
- Ability to travel to project locations as required.
- Lead high-profile commercial and institutional projects.
