Overview
\nSinai Hospital of Baltimore, a nonprofit teaching hospital affiliated with George Washington School of Medicine and Health Sciences, is seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Gastroenterologist to join Gastroenterology Associates.
\nThis role offers the opportunity to practice advanced gastroenterology in a collaborative academic environment with access to state-of-the-art facilities, diverse patient populations, and robust clinical support.
\nCore Responsibilities

Diagnose and treat conditions involving the gastrointestinal (GI), hepatic, biliary, and pancreatic systems
\n - \n
Provide outpatient care and inpatient consults (rotating call schedule)
\n - \n
Perform and interpret endoscopic procedures (EGD, colonoscopy preferred)
\n - \n
Order and evaluate diagnostic tests, labs, and imaging
\n - \n
Manage chronic GI conditions and follow-up care plans
\n - \n
Supervise and teach residents, fellows, and medical students
\n - \n
Collaborate with Advanced Practice Providers (APPs), nurses, and interdisciplinary teams
\n - \n
Participate in quality improvement, peer review, and clinical governance
\n - \n
Stay current with clinical guidelines, research, and emerging GI technologies
\n

Base Salary: $500,000 + performance-based incentives (RVU model)

Minimum Qualifications

MD or DO from an accredited medical school

Completion of Gastroenterology Fellowship
\n - \n
Board Eligible or Board Certified in Gastroenterology

Eligible for Maryland Medical License (unrestricted)
\n - \n
Active DEA and CDS licenses
\n - \n
BLS and ACLS certifications

Preferred:
