Job SummaryWe are looking for a strategic, communicative, and empathetic physical therapist who will assess and treat individuals with conditions that hinder their mobility. Your goal will be to enhance their quality of life by alleviating pain and improving physical function. Our treatment plans require adaptability, teamwork, innovative thinking, and problem-solving skills to ensure our patients and residents receive the highest standard of care. This role may involve lifting and transferring patients, as well as being on your feet throughout the day.
Key Responsibilities- Design, organize, and implement physical therapy programs aimed at helping patients and residents recover, enhance mobility, alleviate pain, increase strength, and prevent deformities.
- Document patient and resident information for evaluation purposes.
- Educate patients and their families about treatment plans, schedules, and home exercises.
- Ensure documentation adheres to departmental guidelines and meets all regulatory standards.
- Evaluate and record the therapeutic progress of patients and residents; suggest necessary modifications.
- Adhere to guidelines, regulations, standards, and safety protocols throughout the therapy process.
- Required educational background in line with state licensure.
- Must hold a valid license as a Physical Therapist in the state(s) of practice.
- A valid driver's license may be necessary, depending on the role.
- Must obtain and maintain required department-specific competencies and certifications. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification for healthcare providers is required or must be completed within the first 60 days of employment.
