Schedule: Monday - Satuday
- Monday- Friday 6:30 am - 5:30 PM
- Saturday- 6:30 am - 3:30 PM
OVERVIEW
We are seeking experienced Fiber Splicing Technicians to support a fiber infrastructure project in Temple, TX. This role will focus on ribbonized fiber splicing, OTDR testing, and light source/power meter testing to ensure high-quality fiber installations and network performance. The ideal candidate will have at least 2-3 years of fiber splicing experience, strong troubleshooting skills, and the ability to work safely and efficiently in a fast-paced construction environment. This project is expected to run through December 4 and requires a commitment to a six-day work schedule. The pay rate for this role ranges from $23 an hour to $35 an hour depending on the candidates year of experience
REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
- Minimum 2-3 years of fiber splicing experience
- Proven experience with ribbonized fiber splicing
- Experience using:
- OTDR (Optical Time Domain Reflectometer)
- Light source/power meter testing equipment
- Ability to work independently and maintain quality standards in a production environment
