Customer Service Representative

What You’ll Do

As a Customer Service Representative at OrthoAtlanta, you’ll:
\n • Answer and direct a high volume of incoming calls (80+ daily) on a multi-line switchboard
\n • Schedule appointments and follow-ups accurately and efficiently
\n • Enter and update patient demographics and insurance information in Epic
\n • Create and manage patient cases and referral entries
\n • Verify insurance eligibility and referral requirements
\n • Work referral work queues and index documentation in OnBase and Epic
\n • Provide clear directions, declare calls, and guide patients as needed
\n • Collaborate with colleagues across departments in a fast-paced environment
\n • Deliver an exceptional patient experience with professionalism and empathy
\n • Support additional tasks and projects as assigned by the Call Center Manager

What You’ll Need

• High school diploma or GED
\n • 2+ years of experience in a medical office or call center (preferred)
\n • Working knowledge of Epic (strongly preferred)
\n • Familiarity with medical terminology (preferred)
\n • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
\n • Detail-oriented with strong time management and multitasking abilities
\n • Discretion, professionalism, and a team-first mindset
