\nFuntoNetwork is seeking a DevOps Engineer for an active RFP opportunity: Region 4 ESC RFP R42026-05 - Application Maintenance, DevOps, and Program Support Services for The Texas Education Exchange.
\nRegion 4 ESC is seeking application maintenance, DevOps, QA, program support, and dedicated support team services for The Texas Education Exchange.
\nCore Responsibilities

- Support CI/CD, deployment automation, monitoring, infrastructure reliability, release coordination, environment management, and operational troubleshooting. \n
- Review the RFP scope, source posting, supporting documents, deadline, and client requirements. \n
- Coordinate with FuntoNetwork and related consultants to support a complete, professional response. \n
- Prepare documentation, analysis, recommendations, deliverables, or technical inputs related to this role. \n
- Communicate clearly with technical and non-technical stakeholders as needed. \n
- Support quality control, status updates, and final submission readiness. \n
- Inventory platforms and dependencies: Baseline tenants, servers, endpoints, identities, applications, integrations, certificates, backups, and support ownership for Region 4 ESC RFP R42026-05 - Application Maintenance, DevOps, and Program Support Services for The Texas Education Exchange . \n
- Review identity and access controls: Assess accounts, groups, roles, MFA, privileged access, joiner/mover/leaver workflows, and service identities. \n
- Standardize configuration and patching: Define approved baselines, maintenance rings, exception handling, deployment validation, and rollback procedures. \n
- Validate backup and recovery: Review coverage, retention, encryption, failed jobs, restore testing, recovery objectives, and evidence for Region 4 Education Service Center. \n
- Improve monitoring and operations: Configure health, capacity, security, certificate, job-failure, and availability alerts with actionable escalation rules. \n
- Create operational runbooks: Document administration, maintenance, recovery, incident escalation, vendor support, and environment handover procedures. \n

- Strong written communication, documentation, and stakeholder coordination skills. \n
- Ability to work against proposal deadlines and client requirements. \n
- Experience supporting public-sector, enterprise, or consulting projects is preferred. \n
- Attention to detail and ability to follow structured submission requirements. \n
Earnings, Payments, and Tax Records
\nConsultants will be able to track project earnings, payment status, and tax records inside the FuntoNetwork mobile app.
\nApproved payments for this RFP opportunity will be processed through the app, and consultants will be able to request withdrawals from their available balance directly inside the app.
\nThe app will also provide access to relevant payment history and tax-related records for consultant tracking and reporting.
