Our organization is excited to present a fantastic full-time opportunity for a Sports Orthopedic Surgery Physician to become part of a thriving practice situated in Fresno, California.

This full-time position typically follows a Monday to Friday schedule, with shared emergency department call responsibilities among qualified members of the Orthopedics Department. The selected candidate should be prepared to handle general orthopedic emergency calls.

We are a physician-led multispecialty group with over 120 providers, actively seeking a sports orthopedic surgeon to enhance our busy orthopedic practice in Fresno. Our dedicated team includes three orthopedic surgeons, two sports medicine/family medicine physicians, and three advanced practice providers.

Our practice is affiliated with a highly regarded medical center that has been recognized as the Best Regional Hospital by U.S. News & World Report. Located in Central California, our area boasts a lower cost of living, easy access to Yosemite, Kings Canyon, and Sequoia National Parks, and is just a short drive from San Francisco, Los Angeles, and the Central Coast. Additionally, we offer convenient air travel options with direct flights to most major hubs, excellent schools, and a strong sense of community.

Requirements for this position include:
  • Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) degree
  • Successful completion of an accredited orthopedic residency program
  • Board Certification from the American Board of Orthopedic Surgery (ABOS) (or the ability to obtain certification within three years)
  • Eligibility for California medical licensure and privileges at our affiliated medical center
  • Valid controlled substance registration with the Board of Pharmacy and DEA
  • Willingness to participate in general orthopedic call
