Job Description
Our organization is in search of a faculty member trained in musculoskeletal radiology, specifically one who has completed an MSK fellowship, to join the Department of Radiology and Medical Imaging. The primary workplace will be at our medical center located in Maywood, Illinois, which is roughly 12 miles from downtown Chicago.
Ideal candidates should be Board Eligible in Radiology, possess fellowship training in musculoskeletal imaging, and demonstrate robust clinical abilities to navigate the full range of imaging techniques and procedures pertinent to MSK diagnostics.
Positions are available either on-site or in a hybrid format, which requires some presence at the main campus for interventional tasks such as joint injections/aspirations, bone marrow sampling, and biopsies of soft tissue and bone. Evening shifts and weekend plain film call responsibilities can be managed remotely, utilizing fully operational PACS and voice recognition systems. A strong commitment to both clinical practice and resident education is crucial. There are also opportunities for those interested in engaging in clinical and translational research.
The faculty rank and salary will be aligned with the candidate's experience and qualifications. For suitable candidates, there may be a possibility for appointment as Section Chief. It is essential that applicants hold a valid license to practice in the State of Illinois by the time they are hired.
