Job Description

We are seeking a full-time Family Medicine Physician to join the Graduate Medical Education (GME) Program at Texoma Medical Center in Denison, Texas. This academic-focused role offers the opportunity to mentor and train the next generation of physicians while maintaining a balanced clinical practice within a supportive and collaborative teaching environment.

* Practice Setting: Academic, hospital-based Family Medicine Residency Program

* Support / Care Team: Program Director, faculty physicians, residents, and interdisciplinary team

* EMR / Technology: Modern EMR and teaching infrastructure

Responsibilities

\n

Provide outpatient and/or inpatient Family Medicine care while supervising residents

\n

* Serve as a clinical instructor, participating in didactics, curriculum development, and resident education

\n

* Evaluate resident performance and support recruitment efforts

\n

* Ensure program compliance with institutional and accreditation standards

\n

* Participate in scholarly activity and program development

\n

* Document patient care using hospital EMR system

\n

Qualifications

\n

Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine

\n

* Active or eligible Texas medical license

\n

* Experience in teaching, mentoring, or academic medicine preferred

\n

* Obstetrics experience or fellowship training preferred

\n

* Interest or experience in prenatal care and/or medication-assisted treatment (MAT) is a plus

\n
