Surveying Technician

Position Overview

We are seeking a Senior Survey Technician II to support utility and infrastructure engineering projects. This individual will be responsible for collecting, verifying, and documenting field data necessary for engineering design and construction activities. The Senior Survey Technician II will serve as a lead field resource, ensuring data accuracy, mentoring junior technicians, and coordinating with engineers, designers, project managers, and utility clients.

The ideal candidate has a strong background in utility, telecommunications, civil, or electric distribution projects and is comfortable working independently in the field while maintaining high standards of quality, safety, and documentation.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED required
• 5+ years of experience in surveying, utility field data collection, engineering support, or related field operations
• Experience supporting electric utility, civil, transportation, or infrastructure projects
• Experience utilizing GPS, GIS, total stations, laser measurement equipment, or similar survey technology
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, maps, permits, and construction documents
• Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite
• Valid driver's license with clean driving record
