Our organization is looking to expand its team of full-time Hospitalists at the Hospital Medicine department within Samaritan Hospital, situated in Troy, NY.

The nocturnist physicians at Samaritan Hospital operate on a 7 on/7 off schedule, with 12-hour shifts. We are specifically seeking physicians for the night hours of 7 PM to 7 AM. Our facility utilizes a closed ICU model, supported by in-house intensivists available around the clock. Additionally, Advanced Practice Providers (APPs) are integral members of our team.
Our hospitalist team is known for its collegial and collaborative spirit, receiving outstanding support from nursing staff, the Emergency Department, and various specialties. You will thrive in a positive, team-oriented environment that prioritizes patient care and the well-being of providers.
A dedicated workspace for hospitalists is conveniently located within the Emergency Department, facilitating effective communication and care coordination.
We provide on-site administrative, IT, and case management support, along with a fully integrated Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system.
Applicants must be Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine and should be able to secure licensure in New York State, along with a DEA registration.

RECRUITMENT PACKAGE:
Our organization offers a comprehensive salary and benefits package that includes:
- A competitive base salary of $332,800.
- The stated salary represents the initial range of total compensation and does not encompass productivity bonuses, quality and performance incentives, extra shift bonuses, or other cash compensation relevant to the role. Additionally, providers generally receive a CME allowance and other benefits from their medical group employer. This salary range is provided in compliance with state law and may vary based on the aforementioned factors.
