Dal-Tile is currently seeking an exceptional Sales Representative to join our TEAM! As the Sales Representative, we need someone who is ready to provide a variety of support such as conducting weekly sales calls, reports, and market analysis for top accounts in the region.
\n\n
Primary Objective
\nIncrease market share and sales for the Dal-Tile SBU in the prescribed region/area. Increase account base by servicing existing customers and expand account base through cold calling
\n\n
Primary Function and Scope
\n- \n
- Conducts weekly sales calls - includes servicing existing customers as well as cold calling potential customers (average 4-5 cold calls per week). \n
- Prepares weekly “Sales” and “Call” reports. \n
- Develops a monthly strategy for sales calls and prepares a monthly travel calendar based on that strategy. \n
- Conducts area market analysis of top accounts in each area – includes top Dealers, top Contractors, and top Builders. \n
- Research area market product data to determine the types, styles, and sizes most commonly purchased in the area to determine sales strategy. \n
- Grows market share by increasing sales and sales volume while maintaining company-approved product margin goals. \n
- Completes “Positive Action Forms” for all cold calls resulting in a display, rack, and/or sale. \n
- Utilizes influence and negotiation skills to sell and/or place displays in customers’ showrooms. \n
- Conducts client follow-ups via phone calls, letters, and/or emails. \n
- Establishes and maintains client files and performs timely follow-up on programs and projects. \n
- Provides PK seminars to customers. \n
- Utilizes “On Demand” reporting to achieve sales objectives. \n
- Performs other duties as required \n

Experience and Knowledge Required
\n- \n
- High school diploma and some college highly preferred. \n
- Computer skills to include functional knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Lotus Notes/email. \n
- A clean driving record and reliable transportation are required. \n
- 4 years of prior selling experience. Prior customer service experience is a plus. \n
- Proven ability to work in an unstructured, unsupervised environment is required. \n
