JOB SUMMARY
\n The primary purpose of the Sr. Accountant role is to own key components of the month-end close process, including journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, and financial reporting activities. This role will play a key role in the daily and monthly financial accounting activities for ADG Corporate and must ensure the accurate and efficient completion of these tasks, as well as partner with accounting teams at subsidiary businesses.
This is a hybrid role based in Mooresville, NC, with travel required approximately one week per month to Dallas, TX, and occasional additional travel as business needs arise.
\n\nESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

- Execute financial responsibilities in a timely and efficient manner in accordance with US GAAP. \n
- Prepare journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations to support monthly, quarterly, and annual close cycles. \n
- Own and manage fixed asset and lease accounting processes, including additions, disposals, depreciation, ROU assets, and related reconciliations. \n
- Assist in the preparation of recurring financial reporting packages. \n
- Apply accounting and business expertise to ensure accuracy by leveraging an understanding of company policies, data, controls, and resources. \n
- Identify opportunities to improve, automate, and streamline accounting processes to increase efficiency and reduce manual effort. \n
- Serve as an accounting resource and partner to field accounting teams across business units. \n
Requirements
\nRequired Qualifications:
\n- \n
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance-related field; or Master’s degree in Accounting \n
- 3–5 years of progressive accounting experience, with strong emphasis on month-end close, balance sheet reconciliations, and general ledger accounting \n
- Experience in corporate or public accounting environments \n
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Outlook; PowerPoint a plus) \n
- Strong understanding of US GAAP and financial accounting principles \n
Preferred Qualifications:

- Experience using ERP systems \n
- Experience with fixed assets and/or lease accounting \n
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or CPA Candidate \n
