\n We're partnering with a local public service organization in Puyallup that is looking to add a Event Coordinator to their team. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys coordinating events, working with community partners, and making a positive impact through public outreach.\n
\n
\n Schedule: Tue to Friday 7AM-5PM (Schedule may change based on events and must be flexible to work Weekends or some evenings.)\n
\n
\n Pay: $35/hr\n
\n
\n Event Coordinator Job Duties:\n
\n
    \n
  • Plan, coordinate, and support community events and outreach programs.
    • \n
  • Schedule participation in local events, fairs, and public education activities.
    • \n
  • Build and maintain relationships with community partners and organizations.
    • \n
  • Coordinate event logistics, schedules, and promotional materials.
    • \n
  • Track event participation, feedback, and outreach metrics.
    • \n
  • Maintain outreach supplies, promotional items, and educational materials.
    • \n
  • Assist with community education programs and public safety initiatives.
    • \n
  • Perform administrative tasks including data entry, reporting, and event documentation.
    • \n

\n Qualifications:\n
\n
    \n
  • 3+ years of experience in community outreach, event planning, public relations, or a related field.
    • \n
  • Strong organizational and project management skills.
    • \n
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
    • \n
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and basic computer programs.
    • \n
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
    • \n
  • Customer-focused with strong interpersonal skills.
    • \n
  • Valid driver's license and the ability to travel locally for events.
    • \n
  • Ability to occasionally work evenings or weekends and lift up to 25 lbs.
