CT Technologist | Night | Full-Time
Job Description
Position Type: Full-Time
Work Schedule: Friday to Sunday
Hours: 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
Job ResponsibilitiesThe role involves performing computerized imaging while being proficient with all relevant equipment and monitoring systems. You will also provide assistance to both patients and physicians as required.
QualificationsEssential Education: High School Diploma or GED
Preferred Education: Associate’s degree in Radiologic Technology
Key Skills- Proficient in computer software with the ability to troubleshoot issues.
- Capable of offering both physical and emotional support to patients, particularly during screenings and when addressing patient limitations.
Mandatory Certifications:
- BLS certification from the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross.
- At least one of the following combinations of license qualifications and certifications:

Combination 1:
- FL DOH license as a General Radiographer or Radiologist Assistant.
- ARRT (R) Radiography certification. Must obtain ARRT (CT) Computed Tomography within one year of hire or transfer into the position.

Combination 2:
- FL DOH license as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist.
- ARRT (N) Nuclear Medicine Technology or NMTCB certification, along with ARRT (CT) Computed Tomography.

Combination 3:
- FL DOH license as a Radiation Therapy Technologist.
- ARRT (T) Radiation Therapy certification and ARRT (CT) Computed Tomography certification.

Combination 4:
- FL DOH license as a General Radiographer, Radiologist Assistant, or in Computed Tomography.
- ARRT (R) Radiography certification and ARRT (CT) Computed Tomography certification.
Required Experience: Less than one year in computerized imaging (CT, X-ray, nuclear medicine, or radiation therapy), or completion of a post-secondary CT certification program.
Preferred Experience: At least one year of experience in radiology within Diagnostic Imaging, Nuclear Medicine, Radiation Therapy, or MRI, along with graduation from a post-secondary CT certification program or one year of CT imaging experience.
