Mechanical Assembler
Contract | On-site

About the Role
We're looking for a Mechanical Assembler to join a fast-paced production team building complex mechanical components, sub-assemblies, and sheet metal enclosures. You'll work from assembly prints, wiring diagrams, and schematics to build drawers, chassis, enclosures, and racks — tackling assignments that require sound judgment, initiative, and problem-solving on the floor.

What You'll Do

  • Assemble mechanical components, sub-assemblies, and sheet metal enclosures per engineering drawings
  • Perform hand soldering, wire harnessing, and cabling on assembly units
  • Determine and follow proper methods and sequence of operations for assigned tasks
  • Conduct routine go/no-go testing of circuits, components, instruments, and mechanical assemblies
  • Set up test devices using hand tools or automated test methods
  • Document test results and maintain logs/records of malfunctions
  • Perform repair work as needed
  • Other duties as assigned

What You Bring

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 6+ months of hands-on assembly experience
  • Ability to read, write, and perform basic arithmetic
  • Experience working from established drawings/prints
  • Soldering, wire-wrapping, and cable harnessing experience
  • Comfortable with hand tools and testing equipment
  • Familiarity with MS Teams and IPC-610 standards
  • SMT machine experience, polarity awareness, and ESD handling knowledge a plus
