Opportunity for Maternal Fetal Medicine Physician in Buffalo, NY

Our organization in Western New York is seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible specialist in Maternal Fetal Medicine who has completed a fellowship to become part of our dedicated team.

COMPENSATION PACKAGE

The full-time compensation package includes a signing bonus for attending physicians or a stipend for fellows, relocation assistance, and a competitive salary structure that features an RVU production bonus. POSITION OVERVIEW

In this position, you will be responsible for outpatient imaging, providing consultative services, and participating in rotational inpatient coverage at our Level III Perinatal Center located at Sisters of Charity Hospital. The fetal testing unit serves both hospital-based OB-GYN centers and private practice physicians within the community.

  • Primarily based at a single location
  • Work alongside experienced sonographers
  • Conduct antenatal testing and outpatient consultations
  • Interpret obstetrical ultrasounds
  • Perform routine imaging (including aneuploidy screening, anatomical surveys, and growth assessments), high-risk care, and fetal imaging
  • Opportunity for leadership development
  • Engage in academic responsibilities: resident education, clinical rotations, and inpatient teaching rounds. A faculty position at SUNY Buffalo School of Medicine is available, with rank based on experience and academic qualifications.

You will collaborate with a skilled team of colleagues, including OB-GYN providers, midwives, Board Certified Neonatologists, and Board Certified Pediatric subspecialists. You will be supported by highly qualified sonographers in a collaborative office environment.

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS

  • Completion of a fellowship in an accredited Maternal Fetal Medicine program in the United States is preferred
  • Sub-specialty Board Certification in Maternal Fetal Medicine or Board Eligible status
  • Must possess a current, unrestricted New York State medical license or have licensure in progress, active by the date of hire
  • Must have current, unrestricted federal prescriptive authority, and state prescriptive authority as required
