This facility is seeking a Radiation Oncologist for locum tenens support as they look to fill a current need.
\nDetails and requirements for this opportunity:

- Schedule: Mon-Fri 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM; typical 9-hour days with overtime after 9 hours. Scheduled clinic hours plus call. Night call and 8:00 AM - 8:00 AM weekend call. Call rotation is 1:4 (1 week every 4 weeks). Preferred schedule is one month on, one month off (flexible). \n
- Practice Setting: Hybrid inpatient/outpatient Comprehensive Cancer Center; regional high-volume cancer center with Medical Oncology and Gynecologic Oncology under one roof. \n
- Type of cases and required procedures: Radiation Oncology consults, follow-up visits, treatment visits, tumor board participation, and management of approximately 15-20 patients per day with 2-3 consults daily. Daily on-treatment volume of 25-30 patients. \n
- Credentialing timeframe: 60-90 days. \n
- Electronic Medical Record (EMR): Aria Electronic Medical Record; Eclipse treatment planning system. \n
- Certifications required: Basic Life Support (BLS). \n
- Licensure required: Active Montana license or Interstate Medical Licensure Compact Letter of Qualification (IMLC LOQ). \n

- Dates: Mid Oct through August 2027 (start as soon as credentialed) \n
- Scheduled clinic hours plus call \n
- Mon-Fri 8-5 plus night call and 8a-8a weekend call \n
- Inpatient/outpatient \n
- They prefer one provider to cover need, but will consider multiple if needed \n
- Looking for a candidate to work one month on and then one month off - this is flexible. \n
- Call is 1:4 (1 week every 4 weeks) \n
- There is 2.5 FTE practicing Radiation Oncology physicians in practice. \n
- Comprehensive cancer center with Medical and Gyn Onc - Cancer Center under one roof \n
- Progressive, high volume - as they are the regional cancer center in the area - draw area is 1.3 million people \n
- Typical day will be 9 hours - overtime after 9 hours \n
- Expect two to three consults per day, take call when in clinic, day will consist of follow ups and treatment visits – \n
- PPD: expect 15 to 20 patients per day \n
- Attendance to tumor board is required \n
- Equipment: All Varian Site (2 linacs/true beam & trilogy) 1- Siemens Go Sim CT, Aria \n
- Electronic Medical Record and Eclipses treatment planning system \n
- Staffing: 1 on-site dosimetrist and two remote dosimetrists, 2 on site physicists, and 3.8 radiation therapists \n
- Daily on-treatment volumes: 25 to 30 \n
- Actie MT license or IMLC LOQ \n
- BLS required \n
- Credentialing takes 60-90 days \n
- Rates: Bid as what is needed. \n
