Endocrinology - Division Chief

Our organization, in collaboration with a prominent medical institution, is seeking an exceptional leader to take on the role of Chief for the Division of Endocrinology. • Offer strategic guidance and operational oversight for clinical, educational, and research initiatives in endocrinology, diabetes, and metabolism.
• Foster academic excellence through the recruitment, mentorship, and professional development of faculty and trainees.
• Encourage superior patient care and support innovative approaches to enhance quality and outcomes.
• Advance scholarly productivity in areas such as diabetes, thyroid disorders, obesity, and bone metabolism.
• Collaborate with affiliated institutions, including the Endocrinology section at a local VA Hospital.
• Work alongside institutional leaders to ensure divisional objectives align with departmental, school, and health system priorities.

• A medical degree and board certification in the relevant specialty are essential.
• Eligibility for medical licensure in Illinois is required.
• Academic rank of Associate Professor or Professor is preferred.
• Proven success in leadership roles within an academic medical environment.
• A strong record of excellence in clinical practice, education, and/or research.
• A background in funded research is advantageous but not mandatory.

This is a full-time faculty role offering a competitive salary that reflects experience and academic achievements.

The position includes a comprehensive compensation and benefits package, which features:

• Starting salary ranging from $159,000 to $985,945
• Compensation based on academic rank and experience
