Specialist in Private Banking

Bishop & Company is seeking a Private Banking Associate (Temporary) for a financial services client in Honolulu, HI.
This full-time, temporary opportunity is ideal for a detail-oriented professional with banking, finance, lending, or client service experience who enjoys supporting high-value clients and building strong relationships.

Location: Honolulu, HI (Downtown)
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM (In Office)
Duration: Approximately 3 months, with potential extension based on business needs
Pay: $18.38-$25.81 per hour, depending on experience
Key Responsibilities

• Support a wealth management team in servicing and growing relationships with high-value clients.
• Assist with loan requests from application through closing, including gathering information, preparing documentation, monitoring portfolios, and tracking renewals.
• Support deposit account servicing, account openings, wire transfers, fund transfers, cashier's checks, and other banking transactions.
• Review and audit loan, deposit, and related banking documentation for accuracy and completeness.
• Respond to client inquiries and serve as a liaison between clients and internal departments to resolve issues and provide information.
• Prepare, maintain, and update various reports related to loans, deposits, and portfolio management.
• Generate referrals for banking products and services when appropriate.
• Assist with special projects and provide administrative and operational support to the team as needed.
• Contribute to exceptional client service while supporting business development efforts.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• At least 1 year of experience in banking, finance, lending, underwriting, loan servicing, or deposit operations.
• Bachelor's degree in a related field may substitute for two years of applicable experience.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
