Job Description
Title: Inventory Planner III
Location: Sunnyvale, CA- 1100 Enterprise Way
Pay Rate: $24-26/hour
Duration: 9 Months (Extension or Conversion Possible)
Interviews: 2 Rounds via Zoom
Day to Day:
- Manage inbound shipments, purchase order tracking, maintenance, and vendor communications.
- Monitor inventory levels, analyze SKU performance, and determine inventory needs.
- Receive, allocate, track, and distribute pre-production devices to internal customers.
- Prepare devices for shipment and coordinate delivery logistics.
- Maintain accurate inventory and asset tracking data using internal systems and tools.
- Support hundreds of internal stakeholders by balancing competing priorities and customer requests.
- Execute purchase order, inventory, vendor management, and tracking reports.
- Partner cross-functionally with engineering, operations, and internal customers to ensure devices are delivered on time.
- Troubleshoot operational issues and provide timely updates to stakeholders.
Required Knowledge and Skill:
- 2–5 years of experience in inventory planning, logistics, supply chain, operations, asset management, or a related field.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and manage competing priorities.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Customer-facing experience with strong stakeholder management abilities.
- Experience tracking inventory, shipments, assets, or high-volume products.
- Proficiency with Excel and data management tools.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment while meeting deadlines.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.
- Demonstrated ability to analyze inventory positions and make recommendations based on data.
Nice to Have:
- Logistics, warehouse, fulfillment, or supply chain experience.
- Experience with asset tracking systems or inventory management tools.
- Exposure to AI-enabled tools, automation platforms, or reporting dashboards.
- Project management or process improvement experience.
- Experience supporting hardware products, prototypes, consumer devices, or engineering organizations.
- Familiarity with Amazon Leadership Principles, particularly Customer Obsession, Earn Trust, Bias for Action, and Think Big.
Ideal Candidate Background:
Candidates who have been successful in this role typically come from logistics, inventory planning, warehouse operations, supply chain, hardware deployment, or high-volume product distribution environments where they were responsible for tracking assets, coordinating shipments, maintaining accurate data, and supporting internal customers.
