Staff Software Engineer, Jetpack

Minimum qualifications:

\n
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
\n
• 8 years of experience programming in C++, Java, Python, Kotlin or Go.
\n
• 5 years of experience testing, and launching software products.
\n
• 3 years of experience with software design and architecture.
\n
• Experience with Android or iOS application development.
\n

Preferred qualifications:

\n
• Master’s degree or PhD in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
\n
• Experience in Augmented Reality (AR) and Virtual Reality (VR) development.
\n
• Experience in Android Open Source Project (AOSP).

Responsibilities

\n
• Influence and coach a distributed team of engineers.
\n
• Facilitate alignment and clarity across teams on goals, outcomes, and timelines.
\n
• Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and enhance large scale software solutions.
\n
• Drive the strategic design and evolution of Jetpack XR architecture.
\n
• Partner with Engineering Productivity to optimize Continuous Integration (CI)/Continuous Delivery (CD) pipelines and minimize manual quality assurance (QA) through automation.
