CAPPS Business Analyst

\n6 Months Contract
\nFunctional responsibilities:
\nBusiness Process Documentation:
\nDevelop and document high-level business process diagrams to illustrate workflows and ensure they are aligned with organizational goals and objectives.
\nBusiness Process Changes: Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand process changes and ensure proper updates are made to documentation, procedures, and training materials.
\nDocumentation of Procedures: Create and maintain detailed documentation of Finance procedures and policies as they pertain to CAPPS, ensuring clarity and accuracy for reference and training purposes.
\nDesign Training Programs: Develop and customize training content specifically for client staff on CAPPS functionality, covering areas such as budgeting, general accounting, and accounts receivable.
\nConduct Training Sessions: Lead training sessions for staff, both in-person and virtually, ensuring they have the necessary knowledge and skills to use CAPPS effectively in their roles.
\nSupport and Troubleshooting: Provide ongoing support to staff by answering questions, addressing concerns, and troubleshooting system-related issues that may arise during the training and user acceptance testing process.
\nEvaluate Training Effectiveness: Assess the effectiveness of training programs through feedback surveys and performance assessments, adjusting content and delivery methods as necessary.
\nCollaborate with other project team members and Subject Matter Experts.
\nAssist with other agency training initiatives, as needed.
\nComplete information security training as administered by client.
\n10 Years - Experience in business analysis, process documentation, or training, preferably within CAPPS or an enterprise resource planning (ERP) environment.
\n8 Years - Experience with CAPPS, preferably during an implementation.
\n6 Experience in training, instructional design, or system implementation, preferably within a public sector or large organization.
\n4 Years - Experience with finance and accounting operations, including system support, particularly as it relates to public sector systems.
\nStrong background in process mapping, creating step-by-step procedures, and business process documentation.
\nStrong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts in a clear and engaging manner.
\nProblem-solving mindset with the ability to address and resolve technical and training-related issues.
\nAbility to work independently, collaborate with cross-functional teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
\nPreferred Skills:
\nCertification or training in instructional design, adult education, or a related field.
\nPrevious experience working with a state agency on CAPPS implementation
\nExperience with virtual training platforms and tools.
