The Physical Therapist is responsible for assessing and evaluating patients to create tailored treatment plans that align with their specific conditions. This role involves tracking patient progress, adjusting treatment strategies as necessary, and providing education to patients to ensure the best possible outcomes.

Qualifications
  • Patient Age Range: All age groups.
  • Educational Background: A Bachelor’s Degree is required, with a preference for coursework in Physical Therapy.
  • Essential Skills:
    • Understanding of Physical Therapy theories, methodologies, practices, and equipment.
    • Strong communication abilities.
    • A proactive and positive mindset towards problem-solving.
    • Comprehensive knowledge of potential hazards, necessary precautions, and remedial actions in patient care.
    • Capability to evaluate and implement treatment programs for both simple and complex therapy diagnoses.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Licensure/Certifications: A valid Physical Therapy license in Florida is mandatory, along with BLS certification from the American Heart Association.
  • Preferred Experience: Background in hospital-based rehabilitation services is advantageous.
  • Preferred Education: A Master’s or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy is desirable.
  • Required Experience: Less than one year of clinical experience in relevant areas such as acute care or outpatient settings.
