Requirements
  • Board Certification in Neurology
  • Completion of fellowship training or relevant specialized experience
  • Valid State of Michigan License
  • Proficiency in diagnosing and managing Alzheimer’s disease, frontotemporal dementia, Lewy body dementia, and similar conditions
  • Ability to work effectively with patients, families, and interdisciplinary care teams
  • Strong communication and patient education abilities

Duties & Responsibilities

A typical day may involve:

  • Performing thorough cognitive assessments and neurological evaluations
  • Diagnosing and managing MS/Neuro immunology in adult and elderly patients
  • Coordinating care with neuropsychologists, social workers, and primary care providers
  • Assisting families in navigating disease progression, care planning, and available resources
  • Participating in memory clinics or multidisciplinary cognitive care programs
  • Engaging in educational, quality improvement, or research initiatives related to cognitive health
