Collaborative Team Environment

  • Become part of a collegial group consisting of 3 Hematology Oncologists, 2 Radiation Oncologists, and 3 Advanced Practice Providers.
  • Advanced Practice Providers (APPs) will engage in procedures such as bone marrow biopsies and aspirates, manage patients undergoing active treatment, and conduct follow-up appointments.

State-of-the-Art Facilities

  • A $10 million expansion and renovation was completed in 2021.
  • The center features 24 infusion chairs and 20 examination rooms.
  • Maintain a manageable patient load to support an excellent work-life balance.
  • Access to survivorship and genetics programs available on-site.

No On-Call Duties

  • Benefit from a 24/7 Hospitalist team that manages most calls and inpatient responsibilities.
  • Participate in weekly tumor boards with on-site specialists from various fields, including Pathology, Radiology, General Surgery, Urology, and GI.

Supportive Staff

  • Work alongside a dedicated support team, including a dietitian, nurse navigators, physical therapists, clinical pharmacists, financial counselors, and tumor registrars.

Compensation and Benefits

  • Base salary ranges from $114,121 (0-2 years) to $118,876 (2+ years), plus production incentives.
  • Receive a $10,000 signing bonus.

Qualifications

Applicants should possess the following:

  • A Master's degree in Nursing or completion of a CAHEA-approved Physician Assistant training program.
  • Successful certification and current licensure in Iowa as an Advanced Practice Nurse or Physician Assistant.
  • Possession of an Iowa Controlled Substance Certificate and Federal DEA Certificate.
  • Ability to obtain staff privileges at our medical center.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.
