Senior BI Manager

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Insight Global's healthcare client is seeking a Senior Manager of Business Intelligence & Data to lead BI, analytics, and data governance initiatives. This individual will partner with business and technical teams to ensure key operational, clinical, financial, and revenue-cycle metrics are accurately defined, reported, and leveraged to drive strategic decision-making.

Responsibilities:

• Business Intelligence & Analytics Leadership: Lead the BI and analytics function, partnering with leadership to define KPIs, deliver actionable reporting, and drive data-informed decision-making across the organization.
• Technical Oversight: Provide oversight of SQL development, data modeling, and data architecture to ensure accurate, scalable, and maintainable analytics solutions.
• Healthcare Business Analytics: Leverage healthcare operations and revenue-cycle data to support performance management, financial alignment, growth initiatives, and strategic business planning.

MUST HAVES:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, or engineering
• 7+ years of experience in business intelligence, analytics, or data
• 3+ years of experience in a leadership role, managing a team of at least five individuals
• Advanced SQL skills, including the ability to write, review, troubleshoot, and optimize complex queries
• Strong understanding of relational databases, data modeling, joining, transformation logic, and data-quality testing
• Working knowledge of networking, systems administration, cybersecurity, and cloud infrastructure
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to explain technical issues to nontechnical audiences
