Our organization is in search of a skilled BE/BC OB/GYN physician to become part of our well-established, high-volume practice located in the thriving community of Suffolk, Virginia. The selected candidate will be supported by a dedicated team of experienced OB/GYN physicians and advanced practice providers (APPs) who emphasize collaborative, patient-focused care. Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver comprehensive obstetric and gynecologic care, including preventive services, prenatal care, labor and delivery management, and postpartum support.

  • Diagnose and treat a variety of gynecologic issues, such as reproductive health concerns, menstrual irregularities, pelvic pain, and menopause-related challenges.

  • Conduct in-office procedures, including pelvic examinations, Pap smears, colposcopies, biopsies, and contraceptive management.

  • Perform surgical interventions, such as cesarean sections, hysterectomies, laparoscopic surgeries, and other gynecological procedures as necessary.

  • Oversee patient care in both outpatient and hospital environments, prioritizing quality, safety, and patient satisfaction.

  • Collaborate with women's health nurse practitioners (WHNPs), certified nurse midwives (CNMs), and other healthcare team members to ensure coordinated, patient-centered care.

  • Maintain precise and timely documentation within the EMR system (eCW/Epic).

  • Participate in call rotations and provide after-hours or emergency OB/GYN care as required.

  • Educate patients on reproductive health, family planning, pregnancy, and preventive care.

  • Adhere to clinical guidelines, best practices, and regulatory standards while fostering a positive and professional practice environment.
