Job Type: Full-Time / Part-Time (On-site)
Schedule
Monday - Thursday: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
Friday: 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM
No weekends
No on-call requirements
Job Summary :
We are seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join a modern outpatient oncology center in Lincoln, NE. In this role, you will perform Nuclear Medicine, PET, and CT imaging procedures while ensuring patient safety, producing high-quality diagnostic images, and following established clinical protocols. Cross-training into CT is available.
Roles & Responsibilities:
Prepare patients for nuclear medicine and radiologic procedures
Perform Nuclear Medicine, PET, and CT imaging according to protocols
Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals
Apply radiation safety and shielding techniques
Process imaging studies and document radiopharmaceutical administration
Coordinate patient records and procedure documentation in the EMR
Prepare contrast media as needed
Perform quality assurance checks on imaging equipment
Report equipment malfunctions promptly
Maintain exam rooms and imaging supplies
Ensure HIPAA compliance and patient confidentiality
Assist with additional departmental duties as assigned
Education, Licensure, and Experience
Graduate of an accredited Nuclear Medicine Technology program (or relevant Bachelor's degree)
ARRT (N) or NMTCB certification
Current CPR certification
Willingness to cross-train into CT
Preferred:
2+ years of Nuclear Medicine experience (New graduates are encouraged to apply)
Nebraska Medical Radiographer License
PET/CT imaging experience
