Senior Software Engineer
Job Description
Senior Software Engineer (AI + Manufacturing)
\nLos Angeles, CA (on-site with very cool machines)
\n\nLet’s skip the buzzwords for a second.
\nThis is not your average “build another SaaS dashboard” role.
\nThis is:
\nWriting code that talks to real machines
\nProcessing insane amounts of data (think millions of sensor events per second)
\nHelping build a factory that manufactures physical parts… almost as fast as someone can think of them
\nYes, really.
\n\nWhat You’ll Be Building
\nWe’re a well-funded, quietly ambitious team working on next-gen manufacturing systems powered by AI.
\nOur platform sits at the intersection of:
\n- \n
- Software \n
- Hardware \n
- Physics (the fun kind, not the exam kind) \n
Your work will power a fully automated, industrial-scale production system — the kind that makes traditional manufacturing look… slow.
\n\n&99;️ What You’ll Do
\n- \n
- Architect and scale backend systems that ingest massive real-time sensor data \n
- Build data pipelines that feed cutting-edge ML models (GPU-heavy, data-hungry, very cool) \n
- Design infrastructure for both real-time and historical analytics \n
- Develop services that unify machines, data, and decision-making across the factory floor \n
- Write production-grade code that directly impacts physical output (no pressure ) \n
- Partner with ML + hardware teams to turn raw data into intelligent systems \n
What You Bring
\n- \n
- 5+ years building serious backend systems (not just CRUD apps) \n
- Strong experience with languages like Go, Rust, C++, or Java \n
- Proven ability to design and scale data-intensive systems \n
- Experience with data pipelines, streaming, or distributed systems \n
- Comfort working close to hardware (or curiosity to learn fast) \n
Bonus Points If You’ve Touched:
\n- \n
- Kafka, Spark, Iceberg, Parquet, Arrow \n
- Time-series databases or large-scale data warehousing \n
- Kubernetes + containerized systems \n
- High-throughput, real-time data environments \n
- Anything involving 3D data, simulation, or graphics \n
Why This Role
\n- \n
- Work on something actually novel (not just incremental) \n
- Backed by serious funding, but still early enough to make a dent \n
- Tight-knit, highly technical team that moves fast and builds real things \n
- Competitive comp + meaningful equity \n
- Full benefits (medical, dental, vision covered) \n
- Daily meals, flexible hours, and a “builders first” culture \n
Who Thrives Here
\nYou’re probably the type who:
\n- \n
- Gets bored optimizing dashboards and wants to build systems that do things \n
- Enjoys solving ambiguous, first-principles problems \n
- Thinks “that sounds hard” = “I’m in” \n
If you’ve been waiting for a role where software meets the real world in a big way… this is it.
\nApply now — or send it to the smartest engineer you know who’s secretly tired of moving pixels around.
