Business Development Manager –Energy & Power

\nPrimary Activities/Duties
\n- \n
- Identify and develop new business opportunities within the Energy & Power markets, including EVCI, BESS, Data Centers, renewables, and power grid sectors. \n
- Uncover and Identify power distribution systems and projects \n
- Identify potential Busbar bar applications \n
- Educate Electrical Engineering personnel to introduce Busbar as a primary distribution solution \n
- Deliver technical presentations for vertical markets and power distribution \n
- Bring together different company resources and collaborate on large projects \n
- Collaborate with Marketing and Product Management to shape messaging and promotional strategies for social media and sales collateral. \n
- Build and maintain a strong network of industry contacts and strategic partners. \n
- Represent Rittal at industry events, conferences, and customer engagements. \n
- Lead client meetings, presentations, and follow-ups to nurture long-term relationships. \n
- Analyze market trends and customer needs to inform strategic decisions. \n
- Work closely with Eplan to deliver integrated solutions and maximize customer value. \n
- Develop use cases and application samples to support sales efforts. \n
- Serve as a liaison between U.S. operations and German headquarters to align global strategies. \n
Requirements
\n- \n
- Ability to travel regionally and nationally for customer visits, events, and internal meetings. \n
- Strong backround in Engineering and technical Sales \n
- Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills. \n
- Familiarity with Electrical Components, Circuit Breakers, Motor Starters, Drives, Fuseblocks \n
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently in a dynamic environment. \n
- Proficiency in SAP (APO PP/DS preferred), Salesforce, Microsoft Office Suite, and PDM/PLM systems. \n
- Analytical mindset with a collaborative spirit and agile approach to change. \n
Knowledge & Experience
\n- \n
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field. \n
- Minimum 5 years of experience in business development, sales, or marketing—preferably in the manufacturing or energy sectors. \n
- Strong understanding of the manufacturing ecosystem and energy market dynamics. \n
- Experience working with cross-functional teams and international stakeholders. \n
- Familiarity with integrated solutions and technical sales in energy infrastructure. \n
