The James A. Haley Veterans' Hospital, one of the largest and most complex VA facilities in the nation, is seeking a Board-Certified/Board-Eligible Radiation Oncologist to join our dedicated, mission-driven team in beautiful Tampa, Florida.
\nAbout the Opportunity
\nThis position offers the opportunity to provide comprehensive radiation oncology services to our nation's Veterans within a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment. The selected physician will evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients with malignant and benign diseases requiring radiation therapy while participating in tumor boards and interdisciplinary care planning.

Duties & Responsibilities

Deliver external beam radiation therapy and other advanced modalities
\n - \n
Develop individualized treatment plans in collaboration with medical oncology, surgery, and specialty services
\n - \n
Participate in tumor boards and quality improvement initiatives
\n - \n
Provide clinical oversight and mentorship to trainees as applicable
\n - \n
Maintain timely and accurate documentation within CPRS/EMR systems
\n
Qualifications
\n- \n

MD or DO degree from an accredited institution
\n - \n
Completion of an accredited Radiation Oncology residency
\n - \n
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Radiation Oncology
\n - \n
Active, unrestricted U.S. medical license
\n - \n
U.S. citizenship required
\n
