I'm partnering with a growing manufacturer to identify a Buyer who enjoys building supplier relationships, managing material flow, and keeping production running smoothly in a fast-paced environment.
Compensation
- $26-$32/hour

- Manage purchase orders and supplier relationships to support production schedules
- Procure raw materials, components, and subassemblies from an established supplier network
- Monitor supplier deliveries and proactively resolve shortages, delays, and quality concerns
- Collaborate with Engineering, Production, Planning, and Accounting teams
- Maintain accurate BOMs, pricing, lead times, and purchasing data within ERP/MRP systems
- Support inventory management initiatives while balancing material availability and inventory investment
- Assist with new product launches, engineering changes, and continuous improvement projects
- 1+ years of purchasing, procurement, materials planning, or supply chain experience
- Manufacturing experience preferred
- Strong understanding of BOMs, inventory management, and ERP/MRP systems
- Experience purchasing components, raw materials, or engineered products
- Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Bachelor's degree preferred, but equivalent experience will be considered
- Experience with fabricated metal components, electrical components, textiles, wood products, foam, or related materials
- Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives
- Comfortable working cross-functionally in a dynamic manufacturing environment
