Buyer | Manufacturing Procurement | $26-$32/Hour

I'm partnering with a growing manufacturer to identify a Buyer who enjoys building supplier relationships, managing material flow, and keeping production running smoothly in a fast-paced environment.

What You'll Do

• Manage purchase orders and supplier relationships to support production schedules
• Procure raw materials, components, and subassemblies from an established supplier network
• Monitor supplier deliveries and proactively resolve shortages, delays, and quality concerns
• Collaborate with Engineering, Production, Planning, and Accounting teams
• Maintain accurate BOMs, pricing, lead times, and purchasing data within ERP/MRP systems
• Support inventory management initiatives while balancing material availability and inventory investment
• Assist with new product launches, engineering changes, and continuous improvement projects

What We're Looking For

• 1+ years of purchasing, procurement, materials planning, or supply chain experience
• Manufacturing experience preferred
• Strong understanding of BOMs, inventory management, and ERP/MRP systems
• Experience purchasing components, raw materials, or engineered products
• Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Bachelor's degree preferred, but equivalent experience will be considered

Preferred Background

• Experience with fabricated metal components, electrical components, textiles, wood products, foam, or related materials
• Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives
• Comfortable working cross-functionally in a dynamic manufacturing environment
