To lead reinforcing steel projects from award through completion with discipline, urgency, and accountability—ensuring customers receive accurate detailing, quality fabrication, and on-time delivery. Deliver Projects On Time

\n

\n

• Achieve 95%+ on-time delivery performance across assigned projects.

\n

• Maintain accurate schedules and milestone tracking for all active projects.

\n

• Identify and resolve project risks before they impact customer commitments.

\n

• Limit schedule slippage attributable to project management issues to less than 5%.

\n

\n

Protect Project Profitability

\n

\n

• Capture and process 100% of legitimate change orders.

\n

• Maintain project gross profit margins at or above company targets.

\n

• Communicate scope changes within 48 hours of discovery.

\n

• Minimize unrecovered costs resulting from missed revisions, extras, or changes.

\n

Drive Accurate Detailing & Submittal Execution

\n

\n

• Release awarded projects for detailing within three business days of receiving complete information.

\n

• Achieve a 95%+ on-time shop drawing submission rate.

\n

• Maintain approval timelines that support project schedules.

\n

• Minimize avoidable detailing and drawing-related rework.

\n

\n

Deliver Exceptional Customer Service

\n

\n

• Respond to customer inquiries within one business day.

\n

• Resolve 90%+ of customer issues before escalation.

\n

• Build relationships that contribute to repeat business and referrals.

\n

• Consistently earn positive customer feedback.

Maintain Accurate Project Tracking & Communication

• Maintain complete and organized project documentation.

\n

• Update project tracking systems weekly for all active projects.

\n

• Communicate schedule changes, risks, and priorities within 24 hours of becoming aware of them.

• Ensure detailing, production, delivery, and customer teams remain aligned throughout each project.

Key Responsibilities

\n

\n

• Manage projects from contract award through closeout.

\n

• Review plans, specifications, contracts, and addenda.

\n

• Coordinate schedules among customers, detailing, production, and delivery teams.

\n

• Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned customers.

\n

• Release projects for detailing and oversee the shop drawing process.

\n

• Coordinate fabrication schedules and project priorities with operations.

\n

• Identify, document, and process change orders.

\n

• Coordinate material availability and delivery schedules.

\n

• Maintain project records, tracking systems, and profitability reporting.

\n

• Assist with forecasting workload and future scheduling needs.

\n

\n

Required Experience & Skills

\n

\n

• Minimum three years of construction project management experience.

\n

• Strong understanding of construction drawings and specifications.

\n

• Excellent communication, customer service, and organizational skills.

\n

• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

\n

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.

\n

• Ability to collaborate effectively with customers, vendors, and internal teams.

\n

\n

Preferred (Nice-to-Have)

\n

\n

• Experience in rebar fabrication, reinforcing steel, detailing, estimating, or preconstruction.

\n

• Knowledge of CRSI standards and reinforcing steel placement practices.

\n

• Experience with Procore, BuildingConnected, ConstructConnect, or similar platforms.

\n

• Understanding of fabrication and construction scheduling.

\n
