Transport Supervisor Up to £36,000Alexander Steele Recruitment are delighted to be supporting a successful FMCG business in their search for a Transport Supervisor.This is a fantastic opportunity to oversee the day-to-day transport operation, ensuring products are delivered safely, efficiently and in line with all transport regulations. You'll lead and support a team of Transport Planners, monitor fleet performance, maintain high service levels and drive operational excellence across the transport function.Key Responsibilities:Supervise daily transport operations and delivery performanceOversee route planning and scheduling activitiesLead, coach and support Transport PlannersEnsure compliance with transport legislation and company standardsSupport fleet availability, maintenance planning and driver safetyMonitor KPIs and identify continuous improvement opportunitiesAct as a key liaison between drivers and internal stakeholdersKey Requirements:Experience in a transport or logistics supervisory roleStrong knowledge of fleet operations and transport complianceExperience managing and developing teamsExcellent organisational and communication skillsHours: Monday-Friday, 09:30-18:00 (with occasional weekend cover)TPBN1_UKTJ
