Accounts Assistant
Job Description
At Rawlence & Browne, we're looking for an experienced Accounts Assistant / Bookkeeper to join our growing practice.

\n\nWhat you'll be doing
\nYour work will include a mixture of bookkeeping and accounts support for a wide range of small businesses, including:
\n- \n
- Bookkeeping using cloud accounting software (primarily Xero) \n
- Preparing and submitting VAT Returns \n
- Bank reconciliations \n
- Purchase and sales ledger processing \n
- Assisting with the preparation of year-end accounts and tax returns \n
- Liaising directly with clients by telephone and email \n
- Helping clients with bookkeeping queries \n
- General practice administration as required \n
- No two days are the same, so you'll enjoy a varied workload and the opportunity to develop your skills. \n
What we're looking for
\nWe're looking for someone who:
\n- \n
- Has at least 2 years' experience working in an accountancy practice \n
- Is confident preparing bookkeeping records and VAT Returns \n
- Can prepare accounts and tax returns for limited company's \n
- Has experience using cloud accounting software (Xero experience would be an advantage) \n
- Has excellent attention to detail \n
- Is reliable, organised and able to manage their own workload \n
- Enjoys speaking with clients and providing excellent customer service \n
- Works well as part of a friendly team \n
- Has a positive attitude and is keen to learn \n
