Production Operative

Hours:

\n
• Rotating Weekly Shifts
\n
• Monday to Thursday
\n
• 6am to 4pm | 4pm to 2am
\n

Salary:

\n
• Early Shift : £13 per hour
\n
• Late Shift: Premium of 24% = £16.13 per hour
\n
• Weekly Production Bonuses if targets achieved
\n

Job Duties:

\n
• Operating production machinery and manufacturing equipment
\n
• Operating overhead cranes and material handling equipment
\n
• Operating mobile plant machinery
\n
• Carrying out general labouring and housekeeping duties
\n
• Maintaining work areas to a high standard of cleanliness and organisation
\n
• Ensuring compliance with all company policies, including Health & Safety procedures
\n
• Following safe working practices and operational procedures within a heavy manufacturing environment
\n
• Assisting with production activities to meet quality and output targets
\n
• Undertaking any other reasonable duties as requested by management
\n

Essential Criteria:

\n
• Previous experience within a heavy manufacturing, industrial or production environment
\n
• Experience operating counterbalance forklifts, overhead cranes or similar material handling equipment
\n
• First Aid Certificate
\n
• A strong team player with the ability to work on their own initiative
\n
• Hard-working, reliable and conscientious
\n
• Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced production environment
\n
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
\n
• Good time management skills
\n
• Experience working to production targets and quality standards
\n
• Flexible approach to working hours
\n
