£18.00 per hour PAYE, £720 per week

We are currently looking for a reliable and Class 2 (Category C) HGV Driver to join our team based in Buckshaw Village, Chorley.

\n

This is an excellent opportunity for a professional driver who takes pride in delivering outstanding customer service and working safely and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities\n
    \n
  • Deliver goods safely and efficiently to customer sites.
    • \n
  • Operate a mounted Moffett (truck-mounted forklift) to load and unload deliveries.
    • \n
  • Complete daily vehicle checks and ensure the vehicle is maintained to a high standard.
    • \n
  • Plan delivery routes and manage delivery paperwork accurately.
    • \n
  • Comply with all DVSA regulations, drivers' hours, and Working Time Directive requirements.
    • \n
  • Provide excellent customer service at all delivery locations.
    • \n
  • Report any vehicle defects, incidents, or delays promptly.
    • \n
Essential Requirements\n
    \n
  • Valid Class 2 (Category C) HGV Licence held for 1 year or more
    • \n
  • Valid Driver CPC qualification.
    • \n
  • Digital Tachograph Card.
    • \n
  • Current Moffett (Mounted Forklift) Licence.
    • \n
  • Good knowledge of UK driving regulations.
    • \n
  • Excellent time management and communication skills.
    • \n
  • A positive attitude with a strong commitment to health and safety.
    • \n
Desirable\n
    \n
  • Previous experience delivering building materials, timber, or palletised goods.
    • \n
  • Good geographical knowledge of the North West.
    • \n
