Are you an experienced Supplier Quality Engineer?HR Employment Bureauare seeking an experienced Supplier Quality Engineersupport a high-performance automotive programme within a fast-paced, low-volume manufacturing environment.This is an exciting to work with one of our prestigious automotive clients based in the Woking area.Hours of work: 07:00 16:30Rate of Pay: £34 per hourKey Responsibilities of Supplier Quality EngineerLead supplier quality activities throughout NPI and launch phasesManage APQP and PPAP deliverables, ensuring approvals are achieved on timeSupport prototype and pre-production vehicle builds, resolving part quality concerns quickly and effectivelyDrive structured Root Cause Analysis activities using 8D methodologies and implement robust corrective actionsImplement, manage, and validate containment activities during critical build phasesAssess supplier readiness, including process capability, production capacity, and quality control measuresIdentify, track, and escalate risks impacting quality, delivery, timing, or programme milestonesWork closely with Engineering, Procurement, Manufacturing, and Programme teamsProvide clear and structured reporting on launch status, open concerns, and mitigation plansEssential Experience:Over 5 Supplier Quality or Launch Quality environments in Automotive manufacturingProven background within Supplier Quality / SQA / SQE rolesDirect experience supporting NPI and launch programmesStrong understanding of:APQP / PPAPFMEA / Control Plans8D / Root Cause AnalysisUnderstanding of manufacturing processes such as:MachiningCompositesAssemblyStrong stakeholder management and supplier-facing communication skillsAbility to work within fast-paced programme environments and manage multiple prioritiesKey Attributes of Supplier Quality EngineerResults-driven mindset with the ability to work under demanding programme timelinesHands-on and proactive approach to issue resolutionStrong communication, escalation, and reporting capabilityAble to balance technical detail with overall programme delivery focusComfortable operating within high-performance, low-volume automotive manufacturing environmentsIf you are interested please apply onlineTPBN1_UKTJ
