Our client, a Tier 1 civil engineering and construction company is seeking to employ a Site Agent/Senior Agent to work within their Enhancements team working on projects based between Edinburgh and Fife within the rail sector.We're looking for a Site Agent / Senior Site Agent to join our expanding rail team, delivering key enhancement works across the Edinburgh to Fife corridor in Scotland.This is an opportunity to take on a visible leadership role within a supportive and forward-thinking team, where your contribution will directly shape the safe and successful delivery of critical infrastructure.We welcome applications from individuals of all backgrounds and experiences and are committed to creating an inclusive environment where everyone can thrive.About the RoleYou'll take ownership of day-to-day site operations, leading teams and coordinating works across a variety of rail and civil engineering disciplines.Working within a live rail environment, you'll play a central role in ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently and to a high standard, while supporting and developing the people around you.Projects include bridges, earthworks, civils, and station/property upgrades, offering a varied and engaging workload.What You'll Be DoingLeading, motivating and supporting site teams, including engineers, supervisors and subcontract partnersCreating a positive, inclusive and safety-first site culturePlanning and coordinating works to meet programme and commercial targetsEnsuring compliance with all health, safety, environmental and quality standardsReviewing drawings and technical information to guide deliveryOverseeing essential documentation, including:Risk AssessmentsWork Package PlansInspection & Test PlansTask Briefings / Safe Work PacksMonitoring progress, managing change and ensuring effective communication across the projectMentoring and developing junior staff, helping others grow in their careersWhat We're Looking ForWe're interested in individuals who bring a blend of technical knowledge, leadership skills and a collaborative mindset.You may already be operating at Site Agent level or stepping up from a Sub Agent role.Experience in the following is valued:Rail infrastructure and live operational environmentsCivil engineering, including bridges, earthworks and stations/propertyManaging and supervising site-based teamsInterpreting drawings, specifications and programme requirementsAbove all, we're looking for someone who is approachable, organised and committed to delivering quality work while supporting others.QualificationsCSCS CardDegree / HNC / HND in Civil Engineering (or similar)SMSTSPTSDesirable:Temporary Works Coordinator (TWC)TPBN1_UKTJ
