Job Description

Our client is a global leader manufacturer in the motorcycle components sector. They are now seeking a Group General manager who has experience in the motorcycle industry. They have offices in the UK, USA, Australia and Japan. As the Group General Manager you will provide strategic leadership across all global operations, managing Depot Managers in four international locations. You will shape and execute global sales and marketing strategies, drive commercial performance, and align pricing and business initiatives to meet ambitious growth targets.This position requires a commercially sharp, data-driven leader with extensive experience managing distributed teams in a fast-paced e-commerce environment. You will be adept at turning analytics into strategy, optimising performance across sales, marketing, and inventory flow, and steering cross-regional initiatives that enhance profitability and customer satisfaction.Key Responsibilities as the GGM:Leadership & Team ManagementLead, mentor, and develop Depot Managers across four global regionsBuild a high-performance leadership culture focused on accountability and continuous improvementDefine and track KPIs to drive operational and commercial successSales & Marketing StrategyCreate and execute cohesive global sales and marketing strategies tailored to regional marketsOversee e-commerce strategy development and alignment with wider business goalsLead global marketing campaigns with both central and local teamsBuild and present robust business cases for new products, market opportunities, and promotional initiativesPricing & Commercial StrategyDevelop, implement, and optimize global pricing models that balance margin and competitivenessWork closely with finance and commercial teams to analyse costs and inform pricing decisionsMonitor competitor activity and market trends to refine pricing and sales tacticsBusiness Insight & Sales ReportingDesign and implement reporting frameworks that deliver actionable insightsTranslate analytics into strategic recommendations for the Board and operational leadersRegularly assess sales performance to guide strategic adjustmentsStrategic Operations & Inventory FlowProvide strategic oversight of global inventory management and forecastingCoordinate cross-regional stock movement to minimise inefficiency and fulfil customer demandWork with supply chain teams to anticipate risks and mitigate supply constraintsThe person:Motorcycle B2C experience is essential, applications without cannot be considered10+ years of senior leadership experience, including multi-site and international team managementProven success leading global sales and marketing strategiesDegree in Management, Engineering, or related fieldStrong experience in pricing strategy and business case developmentAdvanced capability in data analytics and insight-led decision-makingDemonstrated success improving inventory flow within global supply chainsExcellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills at all organisational levelsPreferred QualificationsDegree or equivalent in Business, Management, or related disciplineExperience within the automotive or motorcycle aftermarket sectorFamiliarity with ERP systems and advanced CRM platformsExperience navigating regulated international marketsWhat is on offerA unique opportunity to shape the future of a globally recognised, high-growth brandA collaborative, entrepreneurial environment that embraces innovationCompetitive salary and performance-related incentivesInternational exposure and career development opportunitiesIf you're a dynamic, strategic leader ready to make a significant impact in a fast-paced and passionate industry, we'd love to hear from you.TPBN1_UKTJ
