Project Accountant

Your new companyYour new company is a well established business in the technology sector, operating Globally as part of a larger, listed group. Based in the Guildford office, you'll be in a key role with a lot of visibility to operational and senior stakeholders.Your new roleYou'll take ownership of the financial performance of multiple projects, acting as a trusted adviser to key stakeholders and providing the insight needed to support strategic decision-making.Responsibilities will include:Partnering with operational teams to maximise profitability on key projectsProject forecasts, budgets and financial plansMonthly reporting and performance analysisSupporting commercial decision-making throughout the project lifecycleMonitoring financial risks and identifying opportunities for improvementBusiness partnering senior stakeholdersWhat you'll need to succeedYou'll be a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA) with a strong commercial mindset and experience working in a project-based or contract-led environment.You'll also bring:Strong forecasting and financial modelling skillsExcellent stakeholder management abilitiesThe confidence to challenge, influence and add valueAdvanced ExcelExperience partnering with operational teamsWhat you'll get in returnHybrid and flexible workingCollaborative and supportive working environmentGood potential to progress across the local and wider groupWhat you need to do nowIf you're looking for a role where you can genuinely influence business performance, work closely with senior stakeholders and develop your commercial finance career, we'd love to hear from you.Hays Specialist Recruitment Limited acts as an employment agency for permanent recruitment and employment business for the supply of temporary workers.
