Working from a modern production facility, they combine skilled craftsmanship with the latest manufacturing technology to deliver complex steel solutions for commercial and industrial projects.Due to continued growth, they are looking to expand their workshop team with an experienced MIG Welder who enjoys working in a fast-paced fabrication environment and takes pride in producing work to a high standard.Key ResponsibilitiesCarrying out MIG welding on fabricated steel componentsReading and interpreting engineering drawingsFabricating and assembling steelwork to specificationOperating laser cutting machinery when requiredUsing blasting equipment to prepare steel for fabrication and finishingOperating pillar drills and other workshop machineryMeasuring and preparing steel materialsInspecting finished work to ensure quality standards are metMaintaining a clean, safe and organised working environmentFollowing all company health and safety proceduresSupporting the wider fabrication team where requiredSkills RequiredPrevious MIG welding experience is essentialAbility to read and interpret engineering drawingsExperience working within a steel fabrication or manufacturing environmentExperience operating fabrication machinery would be advantageousExcellent attention to detailGood problem-solving skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamReliable with a strong work ethicTPBN1_UKTJ
