International Trade Compliance OfficerLocation: MarlowSalary: £40-45k DOEThe OpportunityAre you looking to build or further develop your career within International Trade Compliance in a highly regulated defence and aerospace environment?We're recruiting for an ITC Officer to join a leading engineering and manufacturing business. This role will support the ITC Manager and wider business in ensuring compliance with UK and US export control regulations, whilst providing guidance to internal stakeholders and supporting critical import and export activities.The RoleAs an ITC Officer, you will support the day-to-day management of international trade compliance activities across the business, ensuring exports are processed efficiently and in accordance with all applicable regulations.Key responsibilities include:Maintaining export classifications within the ERP systemUpdating export control information on sales orders, including licence selection and order clearanceScreening customers and suppliers against relevant compliance requirementsManaging documentation relating to imports and exports to ensure audit readinessLiaising with Chambers of Commerce regarding Carnets and Certificates of OriginSupporting compliance with UK Export Control regulationsSupporting adherence to US ITAR, EAR and Dual-Use regulationsAssisting with ECJU, HMRC and other compliance audits and visitsProviding guidance to engineering, procurement, commercial and project teams on export control requirementsThe successful International Trade Compliance Manager will ideally have the below experience:Essential:Understanding of UK import and export compliance requirementsWorking knowledge of ITAR, EAR and export control regulationsStrong attention to detail and record-keeping skillsExcellent communication and stakeholder management abilitiesAbility to work effectively within a fast-paced, customer-focused environmentStrong organisational skills and the ability to manage competing prioritiesDesirable:Experience working within a Trade Compliance, Export Control or Regulatory Compliance functionExperience supporting government or regulatory auditsCommercial awareness and understanding of working within a business-focused environmentFamiliarity with ERP systems and export licence management processesWhat's in it for You?Profit-related bonus (5%)Pension matched to 5%Life Assurance x3 your salaryPrivate Medical InsuranceOn-site canteen and Cycle to Work SchemeDental InsuranceGym Flex25 days annual leave Bank HolidaysProgression opportunitiesApply NowIf you're an experienced Trade Compliance professional, we'd love to hear from you.
