We are looking for experienced Life Safety Engineers to join our energetic team of contract engineers and on our projects in some of Londons most prominent residential developments. We are looking for a strong team player who will embrace a fast start.Role Responsibilities and Duties for Life Safety & Security Engineer - Contractor :Install, service and maintain Fire Alarm Systems, Evacuation Alert Systems, Emergency Voice Communication (EVC) Systems, Disabled Refuge / Toilet Alarm Systems on high-rise developments and in occupied residential or commercial buildingsEnsure all installations and maintenance activities comply with relevant British Standards and industry regulationsRead, interpret, and work from drawings, site plans, and system schematicsSound knowledge of relevant standards and regulations (BS 5839, BS 8629, BAFE standards)Maintain high standards of health & safety, particularly in live and occupied environmentsExcellent fault-finding and problem-solving abilitiesExcellent communication skills, with a professional and customer-focused approachComplete accurate documentation, reports, and certificationAdhoc duties as requiredQualifications & Experience Required for Life Safety & Security Engineer - Contractor :ECS or CSCS CardSound working knowledge of relevant standards and regulations: BS 5839, BS 8629, BAFE standardsAsbestos AwarenessWorking at HeightManual HandlingManufacturer training (preferred)IPAF and/or PASMA (Desired)Full UK driving licence and Right to Work in the UKMinimum of 3 years experience working within the Fire Safety IndustrySolid experience installing, servicing and maintaining of Fire Alarm, Evacuation Alert, Emergency Voice Communication and Toilet Alarm systemsExcellent fault-finding and problem-solving abilitiesAbility to communicate professionally with a customer-focused approachSalary: Priced workHours of work: Mon-Fri 8am-5pmTPBN1_UKTJ
